* light of my eye * is an immersive resting place that feels disconnected from time and space, where one can simultaneously feel held by the dark and by the light. Two forces that instead of oppose each other, here work together as one, to create a hypnotic display of color on all four walls and the floor. Caustic patterns of light are generated through the refractive qualities of glass and water. This immersion is amplified by a spacious soundscape, and further supported through tenderly subtle olfactory notes of amber.

This installation came to life in collaboration with Ilgin Icozu (sound design) and Matteo Whitten (touchdesigner engineer), with the help of Theon Adam and Manuel Conde (rigging). It was created during the MICME master programme at LABA Valencia.
